HerpTrust will deliver an interactive on-line tool (and mobile app), allowing stakeholders to be constantly informed on the presence of reptiles in their vicinity. Users can explore information on each species and add a new presence point when they encounter a herp. All inputs by the citizens will be reviewed and approved by the OUC team. The tool will have a backend database with exact geolocations (Latitude and Longitude) of herps in Malta and Cyprus. The front-end of the tool will have a user-friendly layout following the IT literacy of the target audience.

OUC will create the frontend of the webtool and the phone app along with the backend database. Data on species locality that will be used to feed that database will be collected by all partners both through data collection from published documents and grey literature.
